DEVOLVED Complete Work On 'Vex' Video, Confirm MACHINE HEAD Support Slot

September 11, 2004

Australian tech-metallers DEVOLVED recently filmed a new music video for the track "Vex" from their upcoming album, "Calculated". The clip will begin airing on Australia's Channel V and Rage in the coming weeks.

"Calculated" is scheduled for release in Australia on September 13 through Modern Music via Sony distribution. An international release date will be announced soon.

The follow-up to 2002's "Technologies", "Calculated" contains 12 tracks, including a cover of the METALLICA classic "Battery", and is being described by the band as "a step beyond anything we have written in the past in both intensity and complexity!"

DEVOLVED have been confirmed as main support for MACHINE HEAD at The Arena in Brisbane on Friday, October 1. The group will also be embarking on a national tour of Australia in October and November. The band will be playing in major cities, including Perth, as well as many regional areas. The tour will be the band's last live performances in Australia before they relocate permanently to the USA.
